Matte lipsticks have been a trend the past months and we all looooove it! But sometimes, this work of art gives a negative effect on our precious lips. The consistency of the product — or the ingredients found in it — make our lips dry and very concrete-like. That’s why make-up artist Pat McGrath has created her newest velvety lipstick line, answering all our prayers!
She recently had her press launch in New York to release to the world her new smooth matte lipsticks – the Lust MatteTrance Lipsticks.
“I didn’t want a matte that felt like concrete,” McGrath said in an interview during her launch.“This formula doesn’t mask the natural texture of your lips. It works beautifully on top of a lip pencil, swiped on straight from the tube, or how I always like to apply lipstick, tapped on with fingers.”
The lipstick line is consisted of three sets, with three different shades each.
First is the Colour Blitz that has bright hues namely Elson with a blue-based red, a bright orange named Obsessed!, and Full Panic which is a fuchsia.
Second is Skin Show which flaunts three different nude colors namely Omi (mid-toned rose), 1995 (brownish-nude), and Flesh 3 (dark chocolate rose).
Last, but definitely not the least, is the Vicious Venoms that comes in hues like an orchid purple named Antidote, McMenamy which is a deep burgundy, and the blackberry Deep Void.
What do you think? They all look pretty, right?
