Photographers in the Philippines is a dime a dozen. Each has their own unique capabilities that make them demanding in their respective fields. Such is this photographer we came across in Baguio: Blazy Sy.
If you find yourself in the summer capital of the country and you are in need of a professional photographer, then look no further. In Baguio City, there is a Photo Studio with a very catchy or naughty name that offers photography service not usually offered by other studios. The studio is called “Hijo De Foto Studios,” which simply translates to “Son of Photo Studios.”
Owned and operated by professional photographer Blaze Sy, aside from its unique name Hijo De Foto, offers taking pictures of special events, food, and other personalized items. Here is the short interview with Blaze Sy.
Because we’re amazed by what he does, we asked if we could interview and feature him on loveit.ph.
Luckily, he happily obliged. Here’s a short interview with Baguio’s one-of-a-kind photographer!
Loveit.ph: What gave you the idea/inspiration to be a professional photographer?
Blaze: It’s for the love of the craft. Two things that I love to shoot or take pictures of, people and food. It was a calling to go to another level and focus more on what I love to do without ever thinking that it is a job.
Loveit.ph: How long have you been in business?
Blaze: It was 2012 when I decided to go professional so it has been 5 years.
Me: Any unforgettable experiences while on the job?
Blaze: Hmm lemme think….It was from a week-long shoot for a travel blogger in various locations in Sagada, Mountain Province and El Nido, Palawan. It was great to experience the people, culture, not to mention the breathtaking scenery.
Me: How do we get in touch with you for your services?
Blaze: you may contact us through Facebook at Hijo de Foto Studios or our website at hijodefotostudios.myportfolio.com.
Thank you very much, Blaze, for your time!
Baguio is a such a wonderful place to be in. And, keeping a memento of all the moments with your family and friends would be great!
So, if you happen to be in Baguio or if you will have an event soon, you know what to do!
